Going home

We shall drift away
On the dreams created
Castles on the beach
Lit with love
Silently waiting
Calling us home.
We shall sit by the edge
The water quietly serenading us
Washing over our hearts
Cleansing our souls
With serenity.
We will call the sunset
Each night
Our own
Holding each other
As it slips quietly away,
Our prints left behind
Side by each
Heading back
Changing course
To return to the walls
That cocoon us in its embrace,
Sleeping with dreams
Of days to come
A life to build
On Sandy shores
You and I
Coming home.

I am a sometimes poet on a quest to master the universe of my mind. My writing runs the gamut of nature, off beat, life and basically the world as I see it through the windows of my eyes. Welcome to my blog. Sit a spell in your big comfy armchair or favorite spot and read for a while if it suits and don't forget to leave a comment to let me know who you are and all that jazz. Looking forward to what each day brings and catch you on the flip side of the stars. Peace and blessings.

      1. That’s wonderful! Really good new. I’m happy for you. Hopefully I can do the same one of these days. A dream home is part of living the dream. And believing can be such a big part also. Have a wonderful rest of your day!
