Still water

In worlds of white
Gliding through
Rippled movement
The only thing
To disturb the stillness.
Solitary grace
Scenes of white iciness
It falls steady
Like a memory playing
The days of the past
In this place
Where silence reigns
Filling the soul with peace
Breathing in
Breathing out
A part of it all

I am a sometimes poet on a quest to master the universe of my mind. My writing runs the gamut of nature, off beat, life and basically the world as I see it through the windows of my eyes. Welcome to my blog. Sit a spell in your big comfy armchair or favorite spot and read for a while if it suits and don't forget to leave a comment to let me know who you are and all that jazz. Looking forward to what each day brings and catch you on the flip side of the stars. Peace and blessings.

  1. I have a mental image of a graceful swan gliding through the icy water, snow falling all around. I know the bird is not there in you poem. I just like swans. Wonderful visuals. I can see my breath as I sit and watch. Quiet. Soft. Ever read The Snow Goose?
