i had a story
As deep and mysterious as
A thousand nights
Forgotten.
How many years had it been
Since I saw your face
Till photographs remind me
Of all I left behind.
These days filled with more
Letting go
Moving on
Loving more
Dreaming always
And I thought then of the words you wrote
Yellowed and folded
Childlike print
You were a sage of my yesterday
Now crumbling into the fire
I built of scattered thoughts
That will burn
And I will walk away
In mirror image of you
But I will be better
Because I left it behind
On the path
To loving me.
Thanks for saying I’m already a writer! That’s cool about you having two dogs. I’ve actually never had one.

They are a lot of work but the unconditional love is great….the reason I get most anxious is them….worry wart mom I guess…they are my kids.🐩💜

Yeah. I wish I had one but my mom’s allergic and my brother’s not a huge fan. I have been around dogs though and would love one.

Thanks, when I was a kid my grandma would send me a card for each holiday/birthday from Snoopy. Always a fun new snoopy card….it wasn’t till I hit my teens until that last one and when she passed away, my mom told me who they were from all those years….like Woodstock too…makes me laugh☺️ are you a snoopy fan also?

Yeah, I am. I think it started for me because for one I love dogs but also because I love snoopy at the typewriter since I want to be a writer. I’m not really into the other characters, but I love snoopy! That’s a cute story about your Grandma.

I like this – depth in places and simple phrases tending much meaning. Looking back but moving forward with positives – Thank you – G:)

Thanks G, always appreciate your comments….I was culling some photos yesterday for the move and it brought back a lot of memories. Always good to look forward and see the future as opposed to looking back and running into a tree or something😊 tat would be so Kim-like😊 peace and blessings my friend. K
